Seeds of Hope is blessed to be partnering with Mountainbrook Community Church of San Luis Obispo. Mountainbrook Ministry/Outreach Pastor Bobby deLancellotti first heard about SHIP through a Children at Risk Conference in Anaheim. With diligence and enthusiasm, Bobby has dedicated himself to building a partnership between Mountainbrook and Seeds of Hope.
In spring of 2008, Mountainbrook gathered a huge shipment of shoes to be sent over to Zambia. In summer of 2008, Bobby along with Ryan and Rory came over to Zambia for a vision trip. They were introduced to the culture of Zambia, and met and encouraged the Seeds of Hope staff there. While in Zambia, they were also able to receive and distribute their shipment of shoes through the Mapalo Vineyard, providing footwear to hundreds of adults and children.
Bobby deLancellotti is now serving on the Seeds of Hope board and is continuing to move forward the partnership between Mountainbrook and SHIP. Mountainbrook has plans to send a team to Zambia focused on kids ministry, as well as to invest in agriculture projects, and to facilitate another container of supplies going to Zambia.. We are all very excited about the future of this partnership and continuing to work together from the Central Coast to bring God’s kingdom to Zambia.
